MLM Training: “Dropout” Case Study

Sorry for this, but this case study is no longer available.
The FTC has new testimonial  and endoresment guidelines that all marketers, both online and offline, must follow.

I’m still waiting to hear back  from our attorneys on how I can use my testimonials and case studies in my business.

I’ll try to re-post this as soon as I can.

In the mean time I’ll enjoy the rest of our training videos.

    Hi Greg,

What are your thoughts on postcard marketing and phone broadcasting? I am interested in both to promote my business,

    • Greg Gomez III September 10, 2009 at 2:41 pm #

      Hey Don,

I like both postcards and phone brodcasts a lot, and recomend them often when it makes financial sense for a marketer.

Many people put their entire marketing budget into a single mailing, or broadcast, expecting to get paid handsomly for practically no work, but the reality is it just doesn’t work that way.

I highly recommend you test several small lists from several different list vendors with two different meassages to see what your best combinations are.

From this you can establish your “Control” or best performing combination of list vs. message.

Once you’ve established your best control, you should constantly be testing against that control to find a better combination.

This will not only help you develop a more scientific approach to your success, but it is also the safest way to build from profits.

In the 6-Step course we cover testing lists in great detail, if you’d like to get more info just opt in to the top right of this post 😉

I want to purchase leads to get this started. Could you assist me with purchasing from the legit sites?

Thank you for the CSI experiance of MLM. I am new to MLM, joined at the end of Nov. 2008. I recently resigned from my full time job to put the petal to the metal. I have a goal of 30 marketers by October 2009. If I can have more I will be dancing in the streets!!!!

My question is can you help me with crafting my own message?

    Best regards,

    • Greg Gomez III July 10, 2009 at 3:38 pm #

      Hey Cynthia,

Glad you enjoyed it, and welcome to the world of home based business owner!

The answer to your question is “Absolutely”. That’s the purpose of the training. To help you develop your own personalized marketing message that you can use to target other people who will want what you have to offer.

This will also posture you as an expert, which will make your prospects buying resistance drop dramatically.

I look for you in class to help you out.

I like the funnel you talked about it make sense to me!
I’m wondering what is the cost of the course is and what comes with it.
It can be a great tool to get rolling with.

    • Greg Gomez III June 24, 2009 at 11:45 pm #

      Hey Darnell,

This is definitely one of the biggest questions I get asked in pretty much ALL the emails I’m getting right now.

Last time we’ve offered this program, we charged a very reasonable fee for the amount of training.

In fact, I promised a total of 8 teleseminars, only 1 following the release of each training module, but I decided mid-program to adjust it to a weekly coaching class for as long as we have students. (classes have maintained and we’ve since expanded the training to even further).

But all that STILL will pale in comparison to the new “heftier” version of the training, and the best part…

You’ll be able to get it in our most affordable offer yet!

I’m super jazzed, to drop this on you guys next week, but I won’t be giving away the price just yet, so stay tuned.

I am very interested in learning more about this system….can you contact me or give me the next steps? Will this work with something as unique as the Enagic Water machine business? Also, how do you think it would work with a nutritional supplement business?

    • Greg Gomez III June 24, 2009 at 11:52 pm #

      Hey Rick,

We are almost ready to get you access to this training and will contact you by email when we officially re-launch the training.

And yes, this will work for Enagic.

Yes it will work for a Nutritional network marketing business. (I’m currently involved with 3 myself, now).

In fact I’ve helped associates implement these strategies in just about every network marketing company in existence today.

So for those that are concerned as to whether or not this can work for you in your current MLM Business, the answer is…

      “You Betcha!” 😉

Check out the rest of the videos in the series to get a better understanding of how, till then.

nice to see for once that typical solicitation junk mail actually has some merit behind it and some useful info, without a big services sales pitch. I\\\’ve been using cold mkt leads for yrs to increase the number of exposures I can get in in a day. It does work well, if you are willing to do huge numbers, and glue the phone to your ear. Unfortunetly the flaw with your model for my bus is that i can only go after customers in warm and semi warm mkt not by buying leads because I offer legal services and all you get is cancellations from \\\’911\\\’ leads who use the svc to fix a problem and then drop it. I do convert members to bus partners, but on purchased leads I must therefore use bus leads.

Only question I have is what do you charge for your coaching svcs, just curious. Have a great day. Ken

      Uhhh… thanks. I think.

Just so we’re clear, I don’t now, nor have I ever “spammed” anyone.

I may go a long time in between email updates, but that’s because I don’t like to send you something unless I know it’s going to benefit you.

But hey, I’m glad to hear you liked the content so far (even if you thought it was going to be junk 😉

Now I want to make a comment on your comment.

First about “gluing the phone to your ear”…

Yup it takes a LOT of dials when you first get started to put the numbers in your favor in order to hit the income goals and put your self in profit.

And for most network marketers, I do recommend this approach as it can get you those numbers without spending yourself out of business… initially.

However, there are MUCH more effective ways to put those same numbers in your favor once you ARE in profit.

One of the things I’ll be teaching in the new 6-Step MLM Business Blueprint launch, will be how to use automatic dialing systems that do a bulk of the Heavy dialing for you and put even more numbers in your favor in a much shorter time frame.

I know for most there is a HUGE fear of picking up the phone, but with these systems it will eliminate a major amount of “call reluctance” and help get folks making waves much faster.

(In fact, this time around I’ll be putting together a REALLY special piece of equipment for you guys that can get you tons of folks CONTACTING YOU! You’ll love it).

The second thing I want to address was…

“Unfortunetly the flaw with your model for my bus is that i can only go after customers in warm and semi warm mkt…

Actually this is not true, and is at the center of what I teach folks to do.

      Think of it this way…

How successful would companies like Wal-Mart or McDonald’s be, if they could only sell their products to people they knew?

Not very successful at all, right?

Yet this is how we’re taught to promote OUR products and services. But Why?

Well, the reason is because our companies don’t trust us to market their products/services without violating government regulatory restrictions.

So they practically tie our hands, limiting us to market our MLM to people we know, hoping this will limit their risk, (think about it, how many family members have hit you with a law suit in the past?)

      So what’s the solution?

Well in the 6-Step Program we teach you not only how to use these systems to kick butt in recruiting, but also show you how to keep your MLM company happy as you do it.

      As to pricing…

I’ve charged fees for my personal coaching students anywhere from a few hundred dollars, all the way up to $70,000.00 to teach these things.

But for this launch You will not pay near even my “medium” coaching fees (but you’ll get just as much value).

I believe you’ll be “pleasantly surprised” when we announce the investment necessary for the training.

      So stay tuned…

I understand that it is a number’s game, but my problem has been getting it out to tons of people as quick as I can. What is a good lead company that I can start with?

    • Greg Gomez III June 25, 2009 at 12:48 am #

      Hey Gale,

One of the things we’ll be doing in this launch that differs from our last, is that I’m putting together a resource center of list vendors that I’ve found to be great to deal with and that I use in my own lead purchases.

In addition I meticulously go through my entire process of “list buying” strategies to help empower you to be able to research and negotiate a list purchase with any vendor you chose. ( and how to be able to spot the gems in a sea of snakes and charlatans.)

Yay!! I got it to work! Somehow an internet gremlin clogged the connection. Once I restarted Firefox, I was able to get through the material.

It was very interesting to hear Dave’s story. My upline organization sells leads for about $2 – $3 each for “Weightloss” prospects and $15 to $30 for various levels of “prequalified” business opportunity prospects so I am really excited to hear how to get leads for 2 to 5 cents each. Looking forward to the next video.

Great eye opener! I’m wondering what the cost to the course is and what comes with it.

  11. Lucy June 19, 2009 at 8:38 pm #

I like the funnel and the way it has been dissected and explained how the whole process works. I makes a lot of sense to avoid family and friends, hotel meetings and 3-way calls and buy a bunch of leads and start dialling and talk to literally 100s to 1000s of people a day and only find those that qualify for what we have to bring into the business immediately by having a presentation call to drive them to that is compelling enough that they want to take action through our posturing and positioning and leading prospects to a path they would never otherwise have found out except through those who have done it. This is brilliant and I have not seen anything like this out there. Great job and I am excited about learning to put together this funnelling system for my primary and market this system at the same time. Greg, well done. Thanks to Dave for sharing his story.

Very informative. I need help getting prospects to my website. I need prospects. Help!!!

  13. vern June 19, 2009 at 5:01 pm #

Thanks, Greg… It was most interesting to have someone else tell their story from zero to success. And thanks for being so human/caring… it definitely comes through in everything you do. I have no questions at this time… just a comment.
It is difficult to do anything “all by yourself”. It would be helpful, (in my case) to have others in the same area who are like-minded in their goals, to see and talk with. Is that a possibility?

  14. Richard June 19, 2009 at 4:45 pm #

HI Greg. I was very interested in your call with Dave. However, it seems to \"hit the wall\" at about 21:43 and not go any further. I\’m assuming it is just a technical glitch of some kind.

I am in a situation much like Dave was. Put a huge effort into Herbalife and just go more and more credit card debt. I did it because I had a business that was failing and I NEEDED another source of income. Instead, I ended up in bankruptcy sooner rather than later. I still like the Herbalife products but I have put it all away for the time being to nurse back my financial health. I was wondering if you could possibly share any information about how your last bunch of people did, i.e. the ones just before your baby came. I was close to joining that group but I just had such a bad experience with Herbalife I am having difficulty figuring out who I can trust.

Not sure what was wrong with the video, but it it’s up and running now thanks for the heads up.
